the reason i started blogging is because i saw the FEAR, the sheer terror, of people i know to speak out about the things they are most concerned. Many friends, knowing that i am not afraid to write what they are, asked me to do something. I thought “what does all this matter to me? i dont have any rights anyway, i’m a felon.”
but, then i thought “I’m not afraid to be jailed for telling the truth, as i see it.” so what the hell.
in my opinion those that face jail for telling the truth are the only hope for america. think about it. captains of industry control what we see, read, and hear and the news guys dont want to get fired for pissing off the sponsors that sign the paychecks.
the checks and balances aren’t working in our government, it’s all a joke. i admire all you bloggers out there that say what’s going on, no matter what they threaten us with.
Terrorism is defined by the U.S. Department of Defense as “the unlawful use of — or threatened use of — force or violence against individuals or property to coerce or intimidate governments or societies, often to achieve political, religious, or ideological objectives.”
now, reader, i ask you, who is terrorizing you? most folks i know are afraid of the government. not because these people are doing anything wrong, it’s because the government seems to me to be the ones taking away our freedom. maybe i’m wrong, but it all seems like we are losing freedom more each day. to live in a continued state of fear is unhealthy. it also makes people more apt to give up their rights for security. i see nothing wrong with keeping our country free from terrorist attacks, but telling the people of this country that the terrorists want to take away our way of life, our freedom, and then TAKING that freedom away from the people of this country is an indication that something has gone very, very wrong.
